k-Space recently added an Orion Series sputtering system from AJA International to our in-house thin-film testing lab. Staff from AJA International visited k-Space to “commission” the new sputter coater tool.
k-Space engineers and physicists then got to work installing several of our thin-film metrology tools onto the sputtering system, including kSA ICE, kSA BandiT, kSA ACE, and kSA SpectR. This effort extends our ability to run real-life demos for our customers and test out ‘recipes’ for thin film monitoring.
Our team will also start developing in-house recipes for optical films to make custom optical elements. This will enhance our existing thin-film metrology products and help us develop new tools.
AJA International is a manufacturer of thin film deposition systems including magnetron sputtering, e-beam evaporation, thermal evaporation, and ion milling systems.
