k-Space Partners with the State of Michigan

To support our continued growth, k-Space has partnered with the State of Michigan to enhance the skillset of Michigan’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) workforce.
As part of this effort, several of our manufacturing technicians and field service engineers took part in a Soldering & Cable Assembly training class. Soldering skills are crucial for assembling electronics. And a valuable skill in the marketplace. Click here to find out more.

Solving Glass Defects
Chips, cracks, blemishes, and other defects of expensive glass panels can happen during manufacturing, in transit, while the product is in storage, or during the installation process.
With margins so tight in the current climate, having product returned is especially costly. Our glass inspection solutions help remedy this problem.
Click the video below to see how our Glass Breakage & Defect Detection tool uncovers chips, cracks, and other abnormalities.
Goodbye to our Amazing Interns

Every summer, k-Space hires student interns. We challenge them with responsibilities designed to propel their career, while also completing important projects for k-Space.
This summer’s k-Space interns were tasked with designing and building a rotation stage for wafers, QA testing of our new Knowledge Base, analyzing microscopic cracks on multiple glass samples, and much more.

3D Print Lab to the Rescue

Recently, a customer asked if we could source isolation mounting brackets to anchor their kSA MOS UltraScan — to keep in compliance with local seismic regulations. No problem! Thanks to our on-site 3D print lab, we simply custom printed the brackets.

A Core k-Space Value

Customer support is a core k-Space value. This has been so from the very beginning of the company, and for every customer. Every support call or email is routed to our dedicated, on-site support team. Our engineers and scientists work closely with support staff, and our CEO monitors the progress of all support requests.
Know that our commitment to you extends beyond product technical support. We want to help our customers succeed. For example, just in the past few weeks we’ve helped customers on a range of concerns, including:
– Guiding them through wafer bow testing issues
– Developing a process to find microscopic blemishes and cracks on glass panels
– Offering recommendations on viewports
– Answering overseas shipping and customs concerns
– And much more
Coming Soon!

Exciting news. We will soon be launching a fully re-designed k-Space Knowledge Base.
k-Space launched its first knowledge base in 2021. An online resource that gives customers instant access to procedural and troubleshooting articles, instructional videos, user manuals, FAQs, and more.
We are currently updating the knowledge base to make it more accessible, with more powerful search and more video-based training tools. Look for our official launch announcement in the near future!
