k-Space is fortunate to be headquartered in Dexter, Michigan, a charming community about 10 miles west of Ann Arbor. But it does get cold. Last week, we were tested with a series of snow storms and temperatures that dipped down to about -10 degrees Fahrenheit.
When life gives you ice, make ice sculptures!
k-Space and several other local businesses sponsored the Dexter Area Chamber of Commerce Ice Festival. Each sponsor commissioned an ice sculpture, and the community gathered to watch the sculptures being made, and admire the finished results. The simultaneous Cocoa Crawl helped keep everyone warm.
Since many k-Space staff graduated from the University of Michigan, and the company got its start while the CEO was a student there, our ice sculpture featured popular University of Michigan sports.
