A Great Time to Gather
We were happy to support ICMBE 2026 and we hope you had a wonderful time touring k-Space and gathering together. We enjoyed showing you our tools, our facilities, and the people who build and support the products in your lab. Below are a few images from the event. Over 100 ICMBE attendees RSVP’d, though the final count was closer to 150.

All Your Questons
As part of our commitment to ICMBE, we worked hard to have most of our thin film and industrial metrology tools available for tour visitors to see, touch, and ask questions about. It was also a great opportunity for colleagues to share how they are implementing metrology tools in their labs.

Is it Hot in Here?
It started to warm up inside Jolly Pumpkin, but that’s nothing like what happens inside the kSA MOS ThermalScan. Here, k-Space Vice President of Technology, Chuck Taylor, talks with ICMBE colleagues about the technologies inside kSA MOS UltraScan and MOS ThermalScan.
The Little Differences
Many visitors were surprised to learn that the same technologies k-Space uses to build metrology tools for the MBE community are now being used in large scale manufacturing facilities.
Software At Your Service
Jason Williams, head of software development at k-Space and a k-Space employee for 25+ years, was happy to talk to visitors about how our software is the central command behind kSA products, before they headed over to the brewery.
Smiling Faces
Best part of the day? Hard to say but sharing laughs with colleagues was up there.
